At that time the Lord contrived another task for Heracles. Now Heracles had to go to the Island Crete and to find there the bull of the King Minos. This bull was to be sacrificed to Poseidon. But Minos grudged sacrificing such a wonderful bull and gave Poseidon another bull, a bit worse. Poseidon got very angry and made the Crete bull rabid. This rabid bull was rushing about the island and destroying everything on his way. Heracles beat this indomitable bull and traveled on it through the sea back home. But the Lord was afraid to keep this bull in his herds and Heracles set this bull free. Now the bull rushed about lands of the Lord, spreading fear and bringing miseries everywhere. A famous hero Theseus killed finally this bull.
